derbi_gpr.jpgAs our supplies of crude oil dwindle world wide, are we aheaded to a future of silent electric motors? That time might be closer than you think. A handy fellow by the name of Mike has created a “powerful” [sic] electric motorcycle out of a Derbi GPR-50. With a top speed of 120km/h (75mph) and a 0-100 in a little over 9 seconds, well, at least its slightly better than a moped. The Spanish machine is normally powered by a 50cc 2-stroke engine.
